Slaughter Spokane Concert reviews
Dwight has still got it.
In off the beaten path Webster Ma at Indian Lake, Slaughter played in a miserable rainy downpour. This venue has a few pluses and many minuses. Covered seating is available at this small outdoor venue. Nice to have covered seating on this particular day, not so nice for those in the very front. Gates open at 11, and they serve alcohol. Show started at two, and some fans were pretty pie-eyed by then. Security was pretty rough - stand in the aisle, get thrown out, simple as that.
Dwight, as always, started his show at about 3:15 and played for two hours. No messing around, no filler, just hard-working entertainment. Great band fronted by former Mavericks guitarist Eddie Perez. The Adam Ezra Group opened. (Come early, little parking)
